As in NOW and NOT tomorrow or the next day. I need this list to inspire me to get back into exercising. I've been procastinating lately and if there are a hundred of reasons to exercise I can also come up with a hundred and one (101) not to or skip it for another time.

Easter thoughts and promises

It’s been a while blog, this has been my usual greeting to all my blogs as I’ve been on hiatus in the blogging world for a while. But I’ll be coming back again and again into blogging since I enjoy doing it. This goes the same with my dieting and healthy lifestyle program. I’ll start again and again because I know it’s the right thing to do.

Just like the lesson during holy week, we will be tempted, fail, stumble but Easter is always another reason to pick your self back into the game. Christ gave his life for us and that is enough reason for us to return to His side. We don’t need to do anything more other than to accept Jesus as our Savior.

Speaking of Easter, I prepared special Egg Hunt activity for my inaanak or godchild. I prepared chocolate shaped eggs and farm animals and some gifts. To incorporate healthy living, I added to the chocolate mix some gummy bear vitamins. She loved it! It’s a success for her to take her vitamins. Her mommy is really glad I got that for her.

So here goes another post and a promise for a follow up real soon.

Mobile version

Don’t you get annoyed when you cannot minimize or downsize the page you are browsing? I do, and most often than not I skip it. So here comes the app development programs designed for mobile and tablet users. If you are a blogger like me, you might want to try the new mobile apps or theme that would cater to your mobile or tablet visitors. The catch is they are usually expensive. Good thing I get to search for one that can be used for free.

While I’m still working on it, I get to see the various advantages and features it has. It works on different platforms like blogger, word press, jomla and more. I can create customize look according to my blog theme. I can also integrate ads and social media buttons. So I really suggest you check it out and jump into the bandwagon.

On the flip side, I hope I can update this blog more often. I am under a lot of stress lately and I really need to condition both my mind and body. I need to set aside a time for my blogs too. I’m looking for some inspiration to keep on blogging and exercising.

Healthy Eat

I’ve started with this healthy eating lifestyle last year. I failed, started, failed and will start again. But as long as you already have the idea or background, even if were tempted and succumbed you know that it’s wrong. Knowing is half the battle and the half is sticking to it.

I am aware of my tendencies to fail and I mostly blame it to the lack of preparation. I don’t have the luxury of time to prepare healthy delicious foods. All I can do is toss some vegetables together to make a salad or soup. Eating the same thing again and again is boring and will become burdensome. So when I got bored with salad or soup, I have the reason to just eat whatever I want or available.

That’s where Emeals come to the picture. I never imagined that preparing all these healthy foods is that easy and quick. The first step is to pick a plan suitable to your preference or diet like vegetarian, gluten-free, low carb, low fat even simple gourmet. When you have chosen the type of plan, you will be asked for the number of servings or portions whether for personal of family meals. Then a weekly plan will be provided to include dinner meals and side dishes, shopping guide and even the store to maximize your savings. There’s an option too for breakfast and lunch at additional fee of course. But come to think of all the hassle you have to go through planning all these by yourself is more than you paid for.

Sensitive skin – Taking Care

Most of us may deal with some or the other skin problems. It could be sensitive skin, itchy skin or scaly skin. We know that we have a sensitive skin when we get a tingling sensation on the skin after a facial or deep cleansing. Severe cases of sensitive skin leave the skin with red blotches and flushes.

Sometimes, our sensitive skin problems are caused due to our own follies. In our desire to look younger, we often go for chemical peels, microdermabrasion and retinoid. What actually happens during these treatments is that the outermost protective barrier of skin is removed. And sometimes after these treatments, we have to deal with the sensitive skin underneath.

Those with easily irritated and sensitive skin should be very cautious about what they use on their skin. There are many moisturizing products and other products for the skin, such as alcohol, retinoids and hydroxy acids that can lead to allergic reactions. Retin-A, also can cause excessive peeling and extremely red skin. If your skin is too sensitive to the product, you should avoid using creams and lotions containing Retin-A. If you want to find out if you are allergic to any product, you can rub the product on your forearm and if there is no itching or redness, then that means your skin is not sensitive to the product. But if your skin turns red, or blistering or any itching, than avoid using that product.

To take care of your sensitive skin, you should use sensitive skin moisturizers that will keep your skin well hydrated and moisturized. Dry skin and sensitive skin go hand in hand. The more the skin dries, the more sensitive it gets due to lack of moisture and the skin becomes more porous. This means that pollutants and irritants can enter your skin. Our skin gets drier throughout the years. Hence, we need to take good care of our dry skin and keep it well moisturized if we want to keep away any sensitive skin problems.

In case you have sensitive skin, avoid excessive exposure to water and hot water bath. Always pat yourself dry. Use a good quality sensitive skin moisturizer right after your shower. Don’t touch your skin too often. Use oils like extra virgin olive oil and grapeseed oil with castor for your skin. Just take all the precautions and you will be able to deal with all your sensitive skin problems with ease.

Need to Diet and Exercise

I’m in a rut. I’ve been slacking again with my diet and exercise regimen. I try to blame it with a lot of things but mainly on my current workload in the office. Sure I am doing twice or more than my share since a colleague resigned. It’s been a month now and even if we hire someone at this very instant s/he still need to render another month’s notice. I’m dead tired by the end of my shift. I’m blabbing about my work but I also know that whenever I try to exercise I get more energy not the other way around.

Okay, so I am always full of excuses. I feel heavy without dieting and exercise. I want to start again with a detox cleansing diet. My previous one was effective some months back but when I tried it again it didn’t work on me. Maybe I need to look for a new one, or maybe I am doing something wrong this time. It’s really frustrating to check the balance everyday and not see any improvements and to top it all someone asked if I am pregnant! I may really look round and pregnant so I need go on a detox diet as soon as possible. Do you have any suggestions?
